If this 'basic/shambolic' issue is a no go for you I'd stay far away from any Alabeo/Carenado product in the future.

It's not a 'no-go' since I already have the aircraft. But it does shed a light on their skills if they can't get something as basic as this correct.

It will probably be the only GA aircraft I buy as occasionally I want to fly low and slow. It suits that fine.

Bug report submitted via their 'request' form. I started by saying this is NOT a request.

I didn't mention the cabin temp which seems to be stuck on 23. Another undocumented feature I guess!

Well done Bert. Flight time now shows 1h 13m 03s. Thanks very much.

I also had a reply from Carenado support saying no-one had reported that bug and that it would be included in the next package. No time frame given.

Rods on Trim Tabs

You should keep chasing them until they get so fed up they fix it. Remember Shawshank and the library books?

You are welcome!

I've sent the code change to Carenado for their consideration..

They should employ you! You seem to have a far greater understanding of the aircraft than them. I didn’t mention I received a modified file. Didn’t want to get anyone in trouble.

Shall I start a new topic on the cabin temp? Permanently 23 degrees but doesn’t say what scale. But the adjustment goes from 0-100 so it should suit polar bears and reptiles.  Is that fixable?

According to the manual it's Celcius. Fahrenheit wouldn't make much sense.

LOL - yeah - multimillion dollar aircraft gives your frostbite - not a good selling point...

Neither does Celsius when the range is 0-100. Would sir like to be boiled alive on today flight?

Do you know the temperature range of the real PC-12?  I'm however impressed about your impressive learning curve.

A month ago you didn't even know why the PC-12 is turning left on its own and now you have already the capacity to think about the range of the cabin temp.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm in your reply? Moving the mouse over the control and noting the range doesn’t take the brain of Einstein.

I asked if you know what's the range in the real PC-12. (No sarcasm at all btw)

No idea I’m afraid. I would guess 18-25 Celsius and certainly not 0-100 as suggested by the pop up.
