777 pulling to the right

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Recently I switched to V4, and every time on runway before take off, plane is pulling to the right?! I haven't had that on FSX. One more thing, it feels way lighter on take off than in FSX. Plane is full....fuel loaded....GW to the max. Any specific set up difference on P3D v FSX?

Thanks

You have a giant sail at the back end of the aircraft. It will be affected by the wind, so if the wind isn't a perfect headwind, it will pull in the direction of the wind. Additionally, P3D isn't FSX. Be sure your calibration and axes are set properly in P3D. Any time you have a new sim, you will find that Windows assigned axes to all kinds of random devices you have plugged in.

Hey Kyle, Thanks for quick respond.....I did calibrate on P3D but she still pulls...Not by much but I didn't had that with FSX. I will try one more time and also with Saitec profile set up.

Also, on P3D does auto rudder needs to be checked or no?

Thanks

Check trim settings.

Trim is set properly, few thousand hrs here though, on the equipment.....aircraft is set correctly...just different feeling....

Autorudder ALWAYS off when using complex addon.

You might have had it activated in FSX without noticing it... It then would have kept you on the centerline even with a strong crosswind. Airplanes are toys for the wind... you have to deal with this.

But to make sure it's normal check your flight controls page on the lower EICAS. Make sure your rudder is not deflected when it should not be. As Kyle mentioned, P3D assigns all axes to all hardware axes you have.. even to your mouse... go through the control settings in P3D and delete everything you do not need, always assign any axis only once.

Happy Flying.

Wasn't being condescending....In the RW I've seen the trim set incorrectly.

LOL...no worries....all good. Often texting, email, appears different that we actually mean... We are all here to help each other as much as we know and can. Thanks

BTW, this morning on T/O no pulling...Just my GSX didn't started...Hmmm.
