Airborne on climb to FL190 Passing through clouds at 10,000 ft Now cruising at FL190 eastward Passing Stony River very popular for kayak, canoe, and small to medium raft Cruising past vast mountainous landscape of Lake Clark Preserve and Wilderness Time to descend from FL190 to 5,000 ft Descending above waters of Cook Inlet Still descending Still descending past PANC Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport airport where you can see Eva airline 747 cargo plane taking toward cargo area Descending past what I believe is SixMile Lake Because winds required me to use difficult approach to runway 34, I needed to fly past closer to Chugach mountain range where you can see on bottom of screenshot highway number one also known as Glenn Highway Because of regulations of the forums not allowing more than 20 screenshots per post, please be kind enough to go to the hyperlink below to view exciting and toughest runway approach.
