December 15, 20178 yr Since i switched to DX10 the snow is sometimes a bit green like on the pic. Any idea? The light and daytime? Max
December 15, 20178 yr Author Ok i have checked it. It depends on the time of day. I can't remember this in DX9 but not sure.
December 15, 20178 yr Commercial Member The best thing to do is to save a flight and press the button in the controller to switch to dx9 and see if it’s the same colour. Terrain is prepared by the terrain engine and doesn’t involve the shaders much. The engine blends together the base texture and stuff like rivers and roads and then lights it based on the lighting defined in the sky textures. It’s possible that these have a green tinge or else something is wrong with your ground textures. My FSX Analysis Blog
December 16, 20178 yr Author Yes seems normal. Same in DX9. I don't think the groundtexture is corrupt. I use ORBX and Skycolours from Active sky. Thanks
