December 20, 20178 yr I've been dipping my little toe into the GA world and getting used to tiny planes from what I've been used to in the tube liner world I've mostly spent my simming career in. Back in the day I'd consider a Gulfstream small....but compared to the plane I'm scooting across the country in...well...the pic says it all... I did a little photoshopping to rebrand the big bird into a livery befitting the upcoming holiday (added the Signature logo to the vest and hangar too) After all these years....kind'a diggin' the GA scene (The RXP GNS 750 I recently bought helps a lot!) And the fuel economy is something to get used to after flying a 747 all over the world. The Queen burned more fuel taxiing out to the runway than this little JP5-sipper uses in a whole flight! What plane is your little one there? C2J or Mustang? It's funny that you are now dipping your toes in GA, whereas I dip my toes into the tube line world (see my thread in Hangar Chat) What made you switch? Nice shots by the way. I guess it kinda does look like a Mustang but its a CJ2. Buying the RXP 750 and integrating it with my GA planes was what made me want to play around with GA flying.
