December 26, 20178 yr I have recently had to reinstall Windows 10 and now cannot get my PMDG aircraft (777-200LR) to start. I can load the default fighter aircraft in P3Dv4.1 without problems, but when I try to load the PMDG aircraft, P3D hangs with the Windows Task Manager showing the program using a large amount of memory but with the CPU usage at 0%. I am sure that I have done something wrong to cause this situation but cannot imagine what that is. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
December 26, 20178 yr Do you use any anti virus software beside win defender? Is your P3D installation located outside of the Program files (x86) folder? Have you used an up-to-date 777 installation file? That much for the most common advice I've read here since now. It's early morning in the US, so the "pros" will come across this in a few hours I think :D ,
