Terminal gates map

Featured Replies

Hi all-

Is there a way to integrate terminal gate numbers into P3D without having to go to say ifly.com? It appears that neither the 750 nor Foreflight has this capability, only taxi diagrams.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

I use Little Navmap when I want to see airport layouts and parking/gate assignments... I believe it generates the airport diagram from the AFCAD... You just zoom in on the map view and the diagram comes into sight... Not sure if this satisfies your need...

Thank you, I've been looking for something like this to help me around airports.

Hi Mitch,

Happy to help... The coolest feature out of the myriad Little Navmap offers - is it databases all your airports defined in your scenery.cfg - then provides an option to display ONLY those airports you have "improved" scenery for... It makes flight planning so much easier when trying to decide where to fly - as it eliminates all the default airports from the view...

Hi Angelo,

Little NavMap is designed to run on a PC or even a second PC over a network - it's not a native IOS app... You could probably finagle something using one of those dual screen apps for your iPad but it's probably more trouble than it's worth...

If you want a native iPad app - and you live and fly in North America - look at "FltPlan GO" - it's what I use on my iPad all the time with P3D... It's a fully functional real world moving map EFB that has built in support for (FSX/P3D/XP) on (Android/Apple/Windows) tablets... It's completely free and it's the ONLY source of FREE georeferenced approach plates and taxi diagrams I know of...

Scott

Hi Angelo,

My pleasure...

FltPlan GO big picture...

  • You need to load the app on your ipad...
  • You need to build a free account on Fltplan.com...
  • You need to download the PC client software from Fltplan.com to facilitate the communications between the two devices...
  • Your tablet and PC need to be on the same network segment...

If you need help - just give me a shout...

Regards,
Scott
