December 30, 20178 yr Commercial Member Global is a very global word... Can you be more specific? Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
December 30, 20178 yr Author Keven? Where can I find information on the Global setting slider? Thanks. Jack Sawyer
December 30, 20178 yr Assuming you meant Controls, Camera, Global Enable slider? It's not a slider, but simply an on/off switch for that particular camera. December 31, 20178 yr Commercial Member So, There are multiple tabs at the bottom of the Advanced page. They each represent a control type. Global will set the speed and inertia of a movement to all the control types except the ones that you specifically changed. Buttons and Keys will change the speed and inertia of assigned buttons and keys Axis will change the speed and inertia of assigned axis Interface Sliders will change the speed and inertia of the sliders in the Camera > Controls page Mouse will change the speed and inertia of the mouse when panning around There is a Global button above every slider. Clicking it in any control type will reset the given slider to follow the Global setting. Clicking the Global buttons in the Global page will reset every control type to follow the Global setting. This allows a user to have, for example, fast and snappy movements using the keyboard and smooth movements using an Xbox Controller and the mouse to pan around. Most people want to set a speed an inertia to everything regardless of the control type, that’s why the Global tab is there. I hope that clears it up! Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
December 31, 20178 yr This clears also for me something ... Maybe copy/paste this in the manual topic Regards, William Vrielynck
