Hello guys (posted the same topic on TOGA forum),

 

I have to say that I'm a bit confused about how the above mentioned add-on's work together. Let me explain:

I installed ENVTEX/ENVSHADE after ASPv4 and ASCA. In ENVTEX I selected ASCA integration and the 24h Skyes from ENVTEX.

 

First Q: Prior versions of ENVTEX/ENVDIR GUI gave me the choiche to use either ASCA only or ENVTEX only or both ASCA&ENVTEX combined.

The latest version only gives me the option ASCA integration ON or OFF.

So how does this button compare to the 3 choiches offered before??

 

Second Q: I have set up ASCA to use the Full dynamics theme. If I look in ASCA under Settings -> WX influence, I see a lot of ENVTEX Sky textures used (~64 Textures all with different check marks). All clear till now!

 

The confusion: Regardless if I

a) Turn off 24h Sky's textures in ENVTEX

b) disable ASCA integration

c) disable ENVTEX (with the red U-Turn button)

              ASCA does NOT return to it's default state meaning I still see all ENVTEX Sky textures beeing used.

 

So how do I get back to ASCA only textures?

I got my ASCA default state back only after a uninstall-reinstall procedure. See also Maximes (TOGA) answer above.
