February 9, 20188 yr Just curious if many folk go with installing the untested beta's over the latest 'stable version'? Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
February 9, 20188 yr I always use experimental versions, so far never had a problem (except in the beginning when i had to reassign my button and so. But that is history now). I see from time to time a new (experimental) version appearing and installing, and then realise that it solves problems i see on this forum. So only thing i can say is that the product becomes better and better and more stable. But if you doubt, just stay with the latest stable version and you are fine. Regards, William Vrielynck
February 9, 20188 yr Commercial Member I opt for the non-Beta version, but that's because I have a lot of Beta software already installed and when I see a problem I want to reduce the likelihood it's caused by other software. Otherwise I'd run the Beta to help out. Dave Hodges System Specs: I9-13900KF, NVIDIA 4070TI, Quest 3, Multiple Displays, Lots of TERRIFIC friends, 3 cats, and a wonderfully stubborn wife.
