Mountaineous VIP action in the Challenger 300 LFLP to LSGS

The weather can change very quickly in the mountains: On this short VIP shuttle flight from Annecy Haute-Savoie Mont Blanc LFLP (tdg freeware from the org) to Sion LSGS (stock XP11) in the Challenger 300 (DDEN´s version 2 for XP11), the sun was still present during preflight planning, but upon starting up the aircraft, everything was grey, and we had snow coming down through the windy air. Luckily, the weather at Sion was pretty clear, the IGS RWY25 approach is spectecular!

these are great shots, wow! Are all systems simulated in this add-on? (pmdg like level or more basic)

pmdg level for 34.95?  lol

It's a pretty good addon but uses the default XP11 FMS.  Which isn't horrible but it's very basic but will do LNAV and can load sids/stars/iap's

Beautiful screenshots. Your scenery looks outstanding.  What do you think of that Challenger 300? Is it a pretty stable software that handles well? I have it but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Sure, not PMDG level, but very depandeble and consistent. And it flies extremely smoothly. The checklist feature is neat, and it even works perfectly with the very nice Terrain Radar plugin, which you can get as freeware from the org. It just integrates into its ND. And sure, it loads all SIDs and STARs, and approaches, all day long! ;-) Why shouldn’t it? ;-) In the 4th picture you can even see the ND drawing a nice curved line of the selected SID.

It’s got decent enough system modelling (for me), all synoptics displays are there. A freeware Terrain Radar plug in from the org integrates flawlessly into its ND, the electronic checklists help you to get started, and the decent stock FMC loads SIDs, STARs, transitions and approaches. And the navdata are updatable via Navigraph or Aerosoft. All in all, very fun plane to fly, worth every cent. And she looks beautiful! :-)
