With so many addons today available for FS, I think I have an idea for one that does not seem to be out there yet. Since the addition of AI aircraft and AFCADS has made airports that much more realistic as well as traffic addons such as Ultimate Traffic and MyTraffic, I think it would be great to have a "FS Aircraft Spotters" addon, that allows us to pick various vantage points at an airport with an "ATC Radio" just like one would do at a real airport. I always have to be in an airplane to slew around in FS, and then have its radio on which will of course lose battery power if the plane's engine isn't running. Active Camera helps, but I can't monitor the tower, etc. Tom

Not really any different from slewing around in the Cessna, but a really cool approach for spotting is here http://www.pimpaviation.com/Click on the dice, and then point the flashlight to number 4 on the right (says 1st official plane spotter) and it will link you to a d/l page :D I think it's really cool, first of it's kind IIRC :9

Wait for a few more months then you will have a Tower View complete with active COMs and Radar... FSX... coming soon to a store near you! ;)

Traffic 2005 by Just Flight (Payware) comes with its own spotter. Works Great. You do not have to wait for FSX, and its is very simple (the 2nd freeware addon looks complicated to set up and manipulate, and its quite big IMHO).Edmundo CardenasCaracas, Venezuela
