Frames ?

I find it always hard to comment on frames cause it depends heavily on your setup and where you fly but with my quite old rig it's looking stable on the level comparable to the other recent carenado releases on the good side. I don't see any big difference on the full or lite versions (a few frames only) but never seen it on the other releases either.

What we really confuses me is that I did a quick first flight with checking the usual AP functions including FMS (very basic but I hate them anyway so ok for me) and a full ILS approach and it all worked fine!? Even the turboprop behavior feels a lot better than usual (on the known level for default sim engine). I AM very confused... it doesn't feel like a Carenado v100 release on the positive side. There will be bugs for sure but its really looking promising... Only small thing I noticed is a "not so nice" sound transition on the oustside while moving around the plane... Otherwise it looks good (as expected) and even feels like a small airliner sim...

Carenado started to provide normal and lite versions quite a while ago. Usually the lite version has a reduced model detail for the interior back cabin giving better fps while in cockpit mode. They are installed in parallel and you will see them in the choose vehicle/aircraft menu. For me its usually only a few frames but for one with an older system it can make a difference for sure. But disabling (by commenting out in panel config) the crappy avidyne brings a lot more... but thats no problem with the F50.

I also go to the P3D dll.xml file and get rid of the Navigraph and CMeteo dlls, that is if you use the GTN750 for primary navigation.  Agree on commenting out the Avidyne..  Other than that, the fps seem fine
