After much testing I found out that the iFly panel doesn't like it when I have an axis assigned to elev trim. Either assigning it in FS9 settings -- control - joystick or via FSUIPC axis assignment. Either way, no matter how I try to set it up with FSUIPC, the autopilot won't work. As soon as I unassign it, then it works. I sent an email off to the developers.I am using a rotary on my Saitek X-45 for trim. It works fine on every other panel, including complex ones like DF727 and LDS767.scott s..

Hello Scott:If you are seeing what I am seeing I am afraid it is not unique to this aircraft alone. The problem for me has been the rate of climb setting. When you engage pitch and this happens immediately click on your rate of climb engagement and adjust it to a reasonable and appropriate setting. This has initiated an acceptable recovery for me. My experience has been that it may be set excessively either way, too radical up or down. My guess is that it is retaining the descent or climb from something previous (purely a guess). I believe it can be preset where this is not a problem but don't remember for sure. Hope this helps.Happy flying:RTH

Well gang, it would help if I RTFM.On the CDU there is a selection under menu/simu/system units which gives the option of metric system or U.S. system. Now to figure out how to update and get all of my stars and sids included.RTH
