Hi guys i’m currently downloading V4.

I have been away from this site for about 8 months as i use Prosim and haven’t really touched V3.4 in like 8 months.

I’m hoping you guys can point me in the right direction with what addons i can leave installed?

I use - Uk2000, GSX, FSDreamTeam scenery, FTX Orbx, AS16 + ASCA and FS Global Ultimate.

Do i need tweaks and what settings are best for a 78” samsung 4k TV?

Recommend a full install which will require a reinstall of your updated v4 addons for FSDreamTeam, UK2000, ASCA and ASP4.

 

ORBX can be backed up and reinstalled using the following guide:

 

Don't have FS Global so cannot comment on that.

 

As for tweaks, most would recommend not having any. Not sure of your hardware but 4K is going to stress all current-gen video cards and hardware. Suggest starting a little lower at 1080p and work yourself up once you are happy with your settings.

As usual, for the P3D in-sim-settings, start your sliders from the left and progressively work at what you feel works best for your hardware.

There is really no "update", the two sims (V3 and V4) are independent installations.

Thats me all up and running. I have to say that DL kills your frames or what? i really had to back down all sliders.

Hi Vernon...long time..

With 4k it's always going to be a bigger hit. Try AA at MSAAx2 or 4. That should be all you need with 4K. But yes it's a hit. Since I fly in the day I have DL turned OFF.
