UTC time wrong with FSrealtime

Featured Replies

I saved a new default flight with my correct time zone in P3D, opened fs realtime, and it automatically moves back an hour when I hit 'set to now". Also the utc time is wrong in p3d. If I use the current utc time, the local time becomes incorrect. How can I fix this? It was working before daylight savings switched.

It seems that these errors are due to the ASUS motherboard, you need to update the BIOS or the motherboard.

A very inexpensive utility to solve time zone and DST issues in P3D and FSX:

This will be fixed for P3DV4.3? 😁😎 an fsx stopper that LM cant fix?

It will do until the clocks change on the 25th March.  Its a common bug when the USA clocks changed and when the zulu +1 happens next week.

Common bug dating back ages that.

No its not, ive got an asus motherboard.  Its a common bug with FSX.  Dont let some IT developer spin you that line.

Trust me Ive first hand knowledge of  the pain these 2 weeks cause where zulu -5 changes to  zulu -4

For 10 years (next year)  i've had to deal  with pilots that are on 100k a year but seemly find it impossible to work out that for 2 weeks the times in the USA change by 4 hours not 5 and then seemly find it impossible to make the crew bus at the hotel at the right time and then next Sunday a load of them will turn up an hour out for their report time in the UK, then seemly have a go at the OCC staff for refusing to change their report time when theyve messed up not us.  happens every year.  Worrying we let them fly 350 tonne airplanes worth 60 million,  but they cant work out when to get out of bed or when you meet in a hotel reception.

its not rocket science, but all too much for someone on 100K + a year.....
