I think about building this, and then i saw this video:

I will have a 1060 in my build, because i want to stay udner $2000. Will a 1060 achieve something a little similar to this? I know it's addons and stuff, but will it be able to be so good?

The big thing to consider is VRAM. I think the 1060 has 6 Gb whereas the 1080 has 8 Gb.

You won't go wrong with the 1060+ cards.

Worth the extra $$$. Damn the crypto-miners causing GPU prices to rise.

These videos... bleh

XP11, like FSX, P3D etc, is still really CPU bound.  Not as much as the ESP sims but still CPU bound.  If you're at 4k, yeah go for a GTX 1080 ti.  But a GTX 1060 with 6GB is fine for 1080P for any sim today, as long as you have a fast CPU (4.5GHz overclocked or more)

Also just watched a video on bitcoin mining and crypto miners...  should be dying off as there's a new simple computer out that will mine better than those quad SLI rigs.

Now that sounds like good news!
