May 6, 20188 yr Here I have a few of them , Rome LIRF , Genova , Milano Malpensa , Milano Linate , Napoli . They all have their own charm. The descent and approach along the coast to Genova at dusk with the city lights on and the sun descending in the sea I like most.. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
May 6, 20188 yr https://fselite.net/p3dv4-airport-map/ You can also surf the map and research the airports you might like in Italy. All P3Dv4 compatible with links to scenery purchase/landing page. Cheers!
May 6, 20188 yr 10 hours ago, McDaniel said: I don't want to be smart, but you do know that LIRN has some special conditions? https://pilotsbriefingroom.com/2011/09/18/naples-italy-naplirn/ Hope it helps. Kind regards McD Is that why coming in from the sea rw6 the auto pilot ILS will put you to the left of the runway on the grass, but coming from high terrain land approach rw26 ILS will put on the runway centre. this why I do not use auto pilot ILS on rw6. May 6, 20188 yr I can also recommend Palermo Falcone e Borsellino (LICJ) from JetStreamDesigns, beautiful scenery with excellent performance. Its an interesting airport with cross-runway design, scenic approach and sometimes challenging wind conditions when using real weather. Milano Linate was already mentioned, its from the same studio and i would consider this as one of the best sceneries ever made for P3Dv4. Absolutely stunning modelling and texture work. 20 minutes ago, rjfry said: Is that why coming in from the sea rw6 the auto pilot ILS will put you to the left of the runway on the grass, but coming from high terrain land approach rw26 ILS will put on the runway centre. this why I do not use auto pilot ILS on rw6. The offset is to ensure sufficent clearance from two peaks just left of the approach path. You would normally switch off AP at minimums which is right before the 3 degree course correction, i dont think that AUTOLAND is possible with any offset ILS approach
May 6, 20188 yr Check NAPLES with afcad it`s not the only problem parking spot`s with duplicate numbers aprons not connected properly taxi way links broken, auto checking in afcad will list the problems. It also gives a warning about problems with AI may not work correctly, this can cause AI to land then disappear with no gate to occupy. Edited May 6, 20188 yr by rjfry Raymond Fry.
May 6, 20188 yr I just bought the latest Milano Malpensa by Aerosoft, but experiencing a stutter immediately after takeoff and landing, (My graphics settings are optimal, getting between 30-35 FPS with FSLabs a320). Is anyone else experiencing stutters exactly during takeoffs and landings? Can it be a dynamic lighting issue? Since the configuration settings do allow for partial dynamic lighting settings?
