May 13, 20188 yr Hello, I have recently upgraded P3d to V4.2 and am having issues with the PMDG747. Every time I select the "Start RC" button, it crashes P3d with RC hanging in the background. It all works fine with all other aircraft, I have even tried loading the 747 in different states, but nothing seems to work. Any help woulds be appreciated. Thanks Darren Darren Palmer
May 13, 20188 yr x2... I'm having the same problem. The B747 is the only PMDG aircraft having this problem. Bill Moore
May 13, 20188 yr Moderator Gents, it must be something connected to the 747. I don’t have P3D v4 so can’t comment but I can’t see how RC4 could be responsible. Check Event Viewer for details of the crash and perhaps report it to LM and PMDG. Ray (Cheshire, England). May 15, 20188 yr Hi, I had the same problem. The solution ( or rather work-around) for me is to load P3D with your desired airport etc. but with one of the standard fighter aircraft. Then start RC, then load the PMDG 747. Then all works perfectly. It seems that RC just doesn't like the 747 to be loaded first. Hope this helps. Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM.
