Not the faintest idea what you mean (sad grin)...Jaap Verduijn.

I can't imagne Charlotte.. is she pretty? :-lol .. hmm what are you talking about Andrew :-hmmm

He gave you the clues you needed to figure it out. I went to Imagine Sim's website and the news says:08 July 06 KCLT Charlotte Douglas Int.Released and ready for download!Anyone tried it yet? There's an 18mb demo version available for download.

Screen shots look great; not a bad price, either. I plan on buying it, but I'm waiting to read comments about how frame friendly it is (or isn't).Bob

Just downloaded and installed it and I like it very much. Frame rates seem to be about the same as my previous add-on scenery version for KCLT ( Larry Hart's scenery for FS2002 which works fine in FS9) but the details are, of course, much more advanced. Ultimate Traffic seems to be working OK with it also.I saw FPS in the 24-12 range with 15-18 about the average. This was clear skys, UT at 100% and all sliders right. Thanks, Ed, for the info. That's exactly what I was hoping to read. :) I'm off to buy it.Bob

What makes the demo a demo? Does it have "demo" writen all over the scenery? Is it missing certain features or textures? Does it only last a certain amount of time?

It has large demo cubes on the scenery, Imaginesim written on the ground, and the buildings go off and on so you can see the framerate comparison.I have been a vocal critic of Mr. Lewin's scenery in the past, but this appears to be his best effort yet. He has photoreal ground textures, and the framerates are very good (30-40 FPS with full AI) on my setup. His texturing and detail are not in the league with Fly Tampa, Cloud 9, or Flight Scenery, but much better than his recent releases as far as ground textures and framerates. I might even buy this one. Good effort.

Yes, I think this one is a definite buy. Although ImagineSim is notorious for lower FPS, I think this is the type of scenery that he can excel at - smaller metropolitan airport and less traffic. I didn't get KEWR because of the FPS but I doubt anyone, except for FlyTampa or Could9 could do something FPS friendly for that area of the globe. In addition, this area of the US has some really interesting weather and this is the first payware developer that has done anything in that area of the country since Simflyers KATL.Now, if he could just update KDTW to be more FPS friendly and with better textures...

I agree that there sceneries arent the same as Fly Tampa or Flight scenery (they are the ultimate scenery developers) but I have liked Denver New Orleans and this looks really good. Detroit is really sort of uninteresting and KEWR is just brutal on frames and I have a good setup. This looks like it might be a winner though.
