$699

AMD RYZEN 9 5900X 12 CORE CPU - ZOTAC RTX 3060Ti GPU - NZXT H510i ELITE CASE - EVO M.2 970 500GB DRIVE - 32GB XTREEM 4000 MEM - XPG GOLD 80+ 650 WATT PS - NZXT 280 HYBRID COOLER

Is that your final bid?😉

The article says two variants. One at $999 and another at $1499. You're probably closer to the actual retail price though, unless nVidia has just decided to sell only to Bitcoin miners.

Also they may well be optimized for the latest big games but what will they do for the performance in flight sim, it may be a high price for little gain we will have to wait and see.

Odd,

Only 2 weeks ago the NVIDIA CEO stated in front of gathered press that we won't see the next range of cards for a "long time".   https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/06/05/nvidia-turing-ampere-graphics-cards-release-date-specs-price-rumours/

Either he was giving us all a bumsteer or perhaps his definition of "long time" is different to mine? In any event, welcome news I say, I've been holding off buying a 1080 TI in the hope of a new card!
