June 27, 20187 yr Hi, does MCE run with the new A320 version and P3D4.3? Thanks Peter Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1

There are no reasons why it shouldn't work, except perhaps for fsInsider64.dll not reading GSX written text to green bar in P3D V4.3 (something that breaks occasionally when a new P3D version comes out). In any case, if will eventually be updated if required. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
June 27, 20187 yr Author Ok, thanks, will try it out. Peter Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1
June 28, 20187 yr Author Here is some feedback. Only a short flight, so that might not be complete F/O is not able - set transponder - starting the engines - arm spoilers - handle parking brake - switch weather radar on/off - push approach button - set heading, v/s Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1

Parking brake and spoilers. It's possible they changed those to use default P3D variables so that third party software like Vatsim ACARS can read them. No worries, MCE should be up to date with both the aircraft and P3D V4.2 by the middle of next week. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
June 29, 20187 yr Author Thanks Gerald, would be great if MCE is up to date with P3D4.3😉 Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1

July 1, 20187 yr Author After 20-30 minutes into the flight I loose my F/O. MCE is still running but the F/O or ground is not reacting to anything I say. Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1
July 1, 20187 yr Author Communication gets also broken when I go into full screen (Alt+Return). Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1

July 5, 20187 yr Author Thanks Gerald, I will try set. By the way will MCE also work with the newly released FSL A319X? MCE dlls and fsinsider64 will stay in therir place in P3D4.3. So MCE might use the setup for the A320X? Peter Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1
July 5, 20187 yr Author After downlowding the patch I get MCE-patch... file. I do not know what to do with it. Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1

Manually copy "fsInsider64.dll" and paste it to \Prepar3D v4\ main installation folder, replacing existing one. Copy files "mcfslA3X.dll" and "mcpmd73X.dll" and replace the 2 dlls in \Prepar3D v4\MCE dlls\ folder Replace "mce.exe" in \Multi Crew Experience\ main installation folder. Replace speech grammar files in \Multi Crew Experience\CandC\ folder, using the 4 files in the patch (inside <CandC> folder) Since Fo doesn't care about external 3D model or specific performances related to A319 v 320 or even A321, as long as the VC switches haven't changed, it should work just as it does under A320. In any case, there should be a full release this Saturday, that will integrate those files in the patch. This is just to save you re-installing. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
July 5, 20187 yr Author Gerald, all these files are not in the download. Nothing to extract. Edited July 5, 20187 yr by Petermuc3 Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1

Your anti-virus may object because the zip contains "mce.exe". exe files are considered a threat when they are direct downloads and not put there by program installers. Right-click the file and select "Extract all". I mean use Windows built-in unzipping capability and not third party tools. It should extract and reveal 2 main folders and n9 files total Could eventually re-upload. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
