I've updated sceneries once and all I had to do is run FTXCentral.  If you have any problems or missing regions, simply erase the text file in \ORBX\User Documents\Versions related to the missing items and FTXCentral will be forced into a fresh install of that item.

Good day. I realize this post is over a year old, but I'm considering updating my P3D v4.5 scenery for the first time. I have the new Orbx Central and Global Products: Orbx Base, Vector, etc. Does the above guidance still apply? I have already updated Client and Content. Regards.

Peter, Orbx questions really should be in the Orbx forum where I have always found help on any topic.  The Central v4 also has a tool right on the product options bar to verify files, which I have found useful in correcting minor landclass texture issues.  Bottom line, follow the instructions.  Be sure to run Central once after the scenery component update and before launching P3D.

Thanks. I've used the "verify files" option before. Works a treat. Will take the "plunge"! Any issues, I'll head over to Orbx forums!
