My system is old but runs fsx se perfect medium high so I don't think its the hardware but could be wrong CPU load in EFB averages around 1 1/2 % which is almost nothing. You have something else going on if it effects FPS.

I just let efb run on the last two cores as well. https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3092-benefits-of-running-client-on-network/ as for navigraph charts, I had the subscription for a while. But honestly, the value compared to what efb offers in one off payment just isn’t there imho. A long time ago, when I still had HDDs and first i7's, I remember it being a huge difference having a 2nd computer, laptop or whatever, to run all the other apps. There have been some others in between, but since I have the 6700K high-clocked, lots of fast RAM and Samsung 970, I really don't bother any more. Been flying since I got 3 screens with everything, and the sim is just smooth! As for the charts, put aside that price-tag, I was in the cockpit of a real A320 in 2017, couple of times just before the flight, and I saw them have an iPad (or was it some other "Pad"...) with EFB (I guess it's Lido/FlightBag). Loks similar to EFBv2 in some ways. It made me think however, if they still carry charts... I guess they do, but never thought of it. Edited July 28, 20187 yr by SimonC
