"C:\ProgramData\Package Cache" after p3d installl

Featured Replies

I noticed each new install of P3D leaves the Package Cash folder filled with subfolders with the "remainings" of the install.

Any problem if I delete these folders which are worth a precious ( for me ) 12,6GB ?

Do not Delete.

You need those files when you uninstall.  Usually in the past, I would symlink that directory to save space.  But I do not do that anymore.

I tried symlinking that folder a few months ago and found that that does not work with MSI installers.  It was just an experiment and it failed.

If space is an issue take a look at your download folders.  Windows defaults to a user location but there is no reason why those files have to be there.  All my flight simulation downloaded files are on a different drive.  You do have a second drive, right?
