Carenado H25B & EMB505 - the rough & the smooth?

Featured Replies

I recently updated the H25B H850XP & EMB505 Phenom 300 to P3D v4 & flew them after they had sat unused for quite awhile.

The Phenom was as smooth as I remembered it & a joy to hand fly.

The H50XP was twitchy on the elevator & the throttle range was tight & compared to the Phenom, not such a joy to hand fly.

Anyone else noticed a flight performance difference between these too?

I am wondering if I have some of the H850XP  FDE settings out of skew.

Hi,

After reading your post I decided to fly both planes for comparison.  As far as hand flying both seemed about the same as far as I can tell.  The throttles on the H850 are a little more touchy in that small movement caused more of a rapid reduction/increase in engine speed.  If I would give one an edge on flying ease it would be the Phenom but not by much.  Hope this helps.

The Phenom is more like a sports car, the Hawker more like a minibus..

Could well be true to real life

Well put😊

& agree Jim, H850 throttles are the more sensitive of the 2. I need more finesse there.
