My FSX stops in certain sceneries

Featured Replies

Ok I’m having a problem, maybe someone can help me…I bought 2 islands from “Pilots of the Caribbean” (The island of (St Lucia) and the island of (St Vincent) I have FSX and windows 7, after the downloads and installations everything was ok, but after a while every time that I entered into the space of those 2 islands my FSX stops, I mean you still see the panel of your plane and everything down there but nothing moves, and the buttons have no actions…and if I wanted to take off from one of those islands the FSX loads until 88% and after that the little circle starts going around forever….my question is why it did work perfectly at the beginning and why it does not work anymore? …is there any fix for that?

I don’t have either of those scenery areas, but, as you mentioned that everything was ok at first, have you added anything else to FSX since you installed them? It is possible that something else may be conflicting in some way with them and causing the issue.

You might try disabling those 2 new scenery within FSX to see if that is the cause of the freezes.

Is your video card DX10 compatible?
