August 26, 20187 yr It's been a few flights with no power from the APU. It starts, provides normal pneumatic pressure, but no electrics whatsoever. I tried reseting the APU GEN already to no avail. I tried fixing failures as well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto
August 26, 20187 yr Do the blue “APU PWR AVAIL” lights illuminate next to the APU bus tie switches once the APU is up to full speed? If not, I’m not sure what may be the problem. This would probably be a question for the official Leonardo support forum. If the lights DO illuminate, be sure to click on the left and right APU bus switches to connect the APU to the main power bus of the aircraft. The engine generators will connect automatically once the engines are started, but the APU generator has to be manually connected. There is no protection cb on the APU Gen, only on the APU starter! August 26, 20187 yr I dont know the exact limitations of the APU, but make sure you are waiting st least 2 minutes before using the bleed air. This has happened to me to where the generator trips off line because I started using bleed air the second I got the apu on. Turning the bleeds on always induces stress to an apu for a really short time initially. Just a thought... Funny thing there is electric feedback when I test it using the selector pointed to the APU! Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto
August 26, 20187 yr I have had this happen from time to time, I think it is a bug. Just click the APU switch to the start position again and it should click on. Alan
