It's an interesting thing to try in any aeroplane, let alone a Lancaster. The fact that they were actually able to find the things, let alone attack them, whilst navigating at such low level in darkness never ceases to amaze me. September 1, 20187 yr I have trouble locating just one moon during my night flights, and you have captured "two"...🙂....a feat by itself. Great overall shot, BTW!
