The AUX pages have some data field setting options..

It is confusing, but you have to change the

"Configure data fields" to "VOR/LOC settings"

using the inner knob,  then you are OK.

Hi Bert, this is a good question. Can you try changing another kind of setting and see if it changes back as well?

It is possible there is a bug in the trainer too with this setting, because whenever you change settings, these are saved in the non volatile memory file. If it changes back, it means the trainer didn't save it in the file.

JL.  I tried setting in this in my carenado t210 and after rebooting the sim it DID save the VOR info.  Is there a way to have this show up on initial install of a GNS530?  It appears to be disabled by default.

Hi Ryan,

Which 'VOR' settings are you actually talking about?

  1. the GUI Settings Panel "Connect GPS to VOR indicator" (aka LinkVor)
  2. the GNS user data field in-device setting (AUX pages)

JL.. we are talking about 2.  in the AUX pages.

It stays for a while, and then reverts to the default setting..

Interesting, I didn't notice. I'll have a look for the next update, but I can't promise anything for now, I first need to be able to repro and analyze.
