October 1, 20187 yr I usually don't do night flights as I really enjoy the daytime scenery. Today, decided to do a predawn departure. The city textures/lighting is dark orange/red everywhere. Looks like Halloween! Does anyone know why? FYI, I have all of the ORBX products installed, if that helps.
October 1, 20187 yr Hi, There should be a control panel for ORBX lights, if you have that installed. It's part of their "Freeware" offerings. You can select different tones and size, brightness etc of the lights, you might be able to change things in there, have a look! October 1, 20187 yr Depends where you are in the world, that's actually the colour the street lights are in the UK in most places for example, since they are mostly sodium vapour lights in the UK Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
October 1, 20187 yr Author after a closer look, its definitely the texture that is this red/orange color. The lights themselves are fine.

This usually boils down to a combination of monitor settings, shaders and HDR. Do you have the PTA shader tool installed? There is a setting in that where you can adjust the night textures to your liking. If you don't have PTA, you can mess with your HDR settings. High saturation settings will make the lights very orange. Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

October 1, 20187 yr Think tomato has some recommendations for the orbx lights configuration. October 23, 20187 yr Author Finally got back to this. I have tested this in other areas and do not have the issue. It only seems to happen with ORBX NL True Earth. You can see the Fly Tampa EHAM looking "normal" next to the ORBX product. Anyone else have this issue with ORBX NL?
October 23, 20187 yr It is the TU NL nightlighting that looks like this. Nothing wrong with your setup. If you do not like all the orange then, if you are using HDR you can lower Saturation. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
