Scenery Import - X-Plane 11 - Drzewiecki New York Airports

Featured Replies

Hi Dave,

For some reason  Drzewiecki New York Airports v2 volume 1 (KLGA, KJFK) will not import using taxiway maintenance - error is Unable to import taxiways from XPlane or no taxiways defined. It works fine with their Washington airport and all of my other 3rd party airports just these. Any ideas?

Kind Regards,

Ted.

Hello Dave & Ted,

Purchased the same DD scenery today and got the same import errors trying to use taxi-maint.

The problem is with the order of the file names in the scenery_packs.ini file.

This scenery has a roads file and an airport file.  Be sure that the airport file is listed first because the program tries to import the first SCENERY_PACK file with the airport code in the name.

Dave,

Thanks! Will re-order the scenery_packs.ini file.

Dave, Ted,

That did the trick, import of scenery worked after moving the road file under the airport file.

Thanks again!

Charles

FYI.  You will have to add the ICAO codes for the Seattle scenery that DD just issued.  It is great but I knew to rename the Airports folder as: "DD Seattle Airports XP KSEA KPAE KBFI KRNT S50" to be able to import these airports.
