October 13, 20187 yr Hi everyone I have a problem with my P3D which generates an error. The P3D version is 4.3.29.25520. I have many ORBX sceneries and PMDG 737 NGX installed, however, the problem most likely appeared after uninstalling Active Sky 2016. I remember that the uninstaller asked me whether to delete also user data, xgauges, etc., I clicked YES and then did not run the simulator and did not check if it works properly. Yesterday I ran sim and it does not work. I tried to install Active Sky again but it did not help. I also reinstalled the .NET Framework 4.6.2 many times and it did not help. I'm broken. Many months of my work on the P3D configuration went to waste. What else can I do to avoid reinstalling everything? Thanks Edited October 13, 20187 yr by 737NGfun
October 13, 20187 yr Have you tried deleting your prepar3d.cfg file and let it generate a new one? Also have you checked the HiFi Sim Tech forums to see if this issue has been posted before? Edited October 13, 20187 yr by exeodus Alan

October 13, 20187 yr Author Yes, I tried deleting (renaming) prepar3d.cfg, scenery.cfg, terrain.cfg, dll.xml etc., also shaders folder, RAASPRO folder, PMDG folder, ORBX folder... No change. I even renamed all Prepar3D v4 folder (in AppData Local, Roaming, ProgramData, Documens) and no change 😞 Onebob, when Active Sky 2016 and then ASP4 was installed, Prepar3D worked perfectly. I mean, Active Sky 2016 not worked in the simulator, but simulator worked normally. Then I installed ASP4 patch for AS2016 and all worked fine. The problem appeared during the last week and of what I remember the only thing that I changed in simulator during this week, was to uninstalling Active Sky and then AS Connect from the control panel. I remember that the uninstaller asked me to delete also user data, weather data, xgauges, etc., and I think something has been removed that should not be removed. October 13, 20187 yr Author Looks like the problem caused by ReShade. I renamed dxgi.dll (it's ReShade library) and P3D works like a charm. I don't know why, because ReShade has been working properly for several weeks. Reinstalling ReShade didn't help but the most important that P3D works 🙂 Edited October 13, 20187 yr by 737NGfun
