Wireless mouse and keyboard Frame killer???

Featured Replies

It might be my imagination but today I replaced my wired usb keyboard and mouse with new wireless nanousb reciever ones.

I seem to have slower frames. Not by much but enough, if you know what I mean.

Anyone shed some light?

Track IR seems particularly stuttery.

Is there an order in which USB devices are prioritised? In which case where should the Track IR cam and headset be?

System is as below in sig. FSX Gold sp2 with ACC.

A mouse with poor DPI can cause frame drops in some cases indeed, i would start to see the latency on your system...https://www.thesycon.de/eng/latency_check.shtml

Thanks. Even if the mouse hasn't been touched for a while and has disappeared from the VC screen?

I see.

And would that be likewise for the keyboard? - doubling my latency woes?

I've used both wired and wireless for years. Never saw a difference..........Doug
