My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
November 23, 20187 yr Fascinating! It was always thought that ion drive was useful for re-positioning satellites in space, but couldn't be used in a dense atmosphere, so in that respect this is a fantastic breakthrough from MIT. Will take a lot of development to increase the thrust to the point where it can provide enough thrust for a reasonable mass drone, or small aircraft, but a fantastic breakthrough all the same.
