If that manages my ENVTEXT and ENVSHADE installations then I assume I install the ENVTEX update and then run ENVDIR to configure and install its textures into P3D. Right? I should I wat for an ENVDIR update to do the same? Ah, that is a great help! Thanks Vic! That's what I must do then ... 😉 Pete Hi, This restore thing , what if this is from P3D4.3 . How can i tell ? Vic Hi Vic , Sorry , i was just under the impression that the folder SHADERHLSL might have bin backuped by the old version in P3DV4.3 and now that i am in 4.4 i would replace that folder with a older version using the restore function. I cant recall deleting this prior to updating 4.4 so i was just checking if there was a way to see this. So many thing to control these days gets me a little confused . Sorry 😉 Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe

Sorry 😉 Thanks Michael Moe It sure can get confusing Michael. There are programs that make a backup of a cfg file. Then you use another program that backs up THAT cfg file and a third program that backs up that one. If you don't restore in order you may have an issue. What I usually do, immediately after a fresh install of P3D is back it up. That way, if something goes wrong down the line, I can restore it to day one. Many programs will tell you in the docs exactly what they are backing up - most times it's just the files they will be replacing, not the whole folder. Always good to check though RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
December 19, 20187 yr Well... I have discovered that my problem with cloud texture integration was not an Envtex issue at all. It was quite simply a problem with my hard head. I was using the "Global Automatic" setting in ASCA rather than the required "Full Dynamics" setting. With the proper settings the cloud integration does indeed work just fine. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused anyone.
