December 22, 20187 yr Aeroplane Heaven's bonus model of the 'Phoenix', which is built from the wreckage of the C-82 Packet forced down in the Sahara Desert en route to Benghazi, in the 1965 movie The Flight of the Phoenix. This is AH's first stab at adding PBR textures to a released model and they've done a nice job of it. The Phoenix model in the flight sim actually has a working Coffman starter, complete with a limited supply of cartridges, so you can see if you could get it going like in the climactic scene toward the end of the movie... May 25, 20224 yr Was there a operation manual included that explains the startup procedures? In some situations I noticed that the people on the wing are sometimes not there and sometimes they are. Just curious what causes that.
