Well, I could swear i used it recently with 4.4, but I guess it didn't do what I thought it was doing. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

It looks for a scenery.cfg in the P3D v3 folder so unless you move the one from v4 into it then it won’t work. Also, the drop down has no v4 entry. Ray (Cheshire, England). As Ray alluded to, it just doesn't find any scenery installed with the add-on.xml method. It also CTDs with some airports that have been compiled with the P3d4 SDK. One can make it sort of work by using Lorby's freeware scenery exporter: http://www.lorby-si.com/downloads.html This tool creates a temporary "unified" scenery.cfg.

I do use Lorby’s Addon Organiser to generate a temporary scenery.cfg. Still can’t get a v4 available in the dropdown. What specifically do you do to get it to work? Ray (Cheshire, England). Thanks, Mark A way of searching for multiple versions is to assume that most of the airport scenery files are located in subfolders beneath the P3d4 main folder. Open the Windows file explorer in the P3d4 main folder and search for the ICAO code like this: *KLAX* One can also search the My Traffic 6 folder in a similar fashion, if one has that installed.

I think that ADE still has it's "File Priority Analyzer" enabled in the most recent versions like 1.76. It suffers the same problem though, with airports installed via add-on.xml.
January 4, 20197 yr Another problem is that an airport preload stub file is often added to the folder ../scenery/world/scenery in order to modify the airport's elevation and/or name. These BGL files are commonly identified by the string ALT in the file name.

I've heard that elevation preload stubs no longer need to be in /scenery/world/scenery -- that due to the advent of the xml method, they can be located anywhere. Do you know if this is true? January 5, 20197 yr I hadn't read that but maybe if they are designated as type WORLD in add-on.xml they might be considered as a preload file.
