August 15, 200619 yr When I add the menu bar (ALT key) my FPS drops by about 10% to 15%. Would like to know if this is related to my system or a general event.Flying over Nevis in Real Air 172 Cessna.2ghz AMD, 512mb, Radeon 9800SE 128mbDick near 5G8EDIT: I see this when flying in a Clear Weather situation. With clouds (detailed) there is no difference with/without the menu bar. regards, Dick near Pittsburgh, USA
August 15, 200619 yr I think from experience that the drop in frames has to do with your screen being in full screen and non-full screen. I noticed a slight drop in frames in full screen mode, however I get a delay in texture loads when NOT in full screen mode.Hope this helpsBill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
August 15, 200619 yr I actually think that the fps value displayed by Ctrl-Z is generally incorrect. FSX feels much more fluid on my system than the displayed fps values and compared to similar frame rates in FS9.Pat
