January 11, 20197 yr With my new 2080Ti VC I'm thinking about to try out VR (Oculus Rift?). Would it be worth the investment? I should add that I'm visually handicapped (Amblyopia - left eye only 12% of norm). I have no vision problems in daily life (drivers license etc.) but "real" stereoscopic vision is not possible. I found some information (Reddit) that VR would be no big problem but maybe others here know more about it. Is there any guide for best usage of VR (which system?) with P3Dv4 Any experiences, suggestions/advises are welcome. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
January 11, 20197 yr VR is not simply about stereoscopic vision. Think about this way: When you stand in a room, you don't perceive depth like the rest of us. But you perceive the proportions like everybody else does. VR enables you to be in that room instead of just staring at an image of a room on a monitor.

January 11, 20197 yr I have a nephew with a false eye from an accident, and he was stunned when he tried Vr. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
