Why? I have it in a couple  of FSX models.  Are you all P3D now?

Yes exclusively.

I do have FSX-SE installed but rarely touch it. I wasn't even sure I still had the RXP installers. I found my external HDD and sure enough all my FSX add-on installers are still there. Including all the RXP products; the Flightlines, Sandels, Jetlines, and of course the WX500.

Will the WX500 not work in P3D?

Just discovered it won't work in FSX-SE.

There are two versions of Wx500 - one for FS9, one for FSX. It's not clear if it works in FSX:SE or P3D. I'm formulating a strategy on what to buy next - GTN 750/650 for XP11, GNS 530/430 for FS9/X P3D or Wx 500 for FS9. Choices, choices, choices...

Hi,

No the Wx500 is only for FS9 and FSX. It is mentioned in the header in the store page:

LEGACY FSX Acceleration / FS9 only - simTainment™ Products Only for Win7 / Win XP - limited support
http://reality-xp.com/store/index.html

NB: this is the place to download the e-commerce installers should you want to reinstall too!

I wouldn't much purchase any of these products nowadays. Although they still work, they are old and limited to not only FS9/FSX, but also to WinXP/Vista/Win7.

We're certainly looking forward to some of these in V2 though...

Understand that due to age versus Windows versions it now falls outside your support scope, but for those who already own the WX500 gauge I have it working successfully in FSX/Windows 10 in the only two aircraft I have tried it with, the Carenado Malibu Jetprop, and the Carenado C208B Grand Caravan and Super Cargomaster.  Just FYI.

I especially like having in my 208B Grand Caravan during my Caribbean treks.

I managed to get the REX WX Advantage in the 208B VC. Without the bezel thou.

Well here is the solution I am looking for.  RXP, are you able to use the black box of the WX500 to drive the display of a GTN 750 like this?  If not, I sure wish someone would develop this product for flight simulation...

Click here to look at the GWX 75 product
Scroll down when there to see the GTN in use.

Good to know. I was just reading about it being 'out of support' and 'not for W10'. I can probably manage without support, but it's nice to know it will work in W10.

The RXP Wx 500 (FS9) looks great and operates just fine in Windows 10. I used to love FS9, but now with these upgraded electronics, I LOVE FS9! Thanks again for the excellent help!

Take off and landing at KHDC in stock FS9 C172 and stock thunderstorm weather with RXP GTN 750/650 and Wx 500
