Following radio check to ensure microphone is working I have loaded the grammar helper. After selecting the phrase, Practice  and PTT buttons the speech window displays "Full Txt;" No text is ever displayed.

The phrase can be heard when the listen button is pressed.

Similarily the Pilot2ATC languague trainer after selecting the controller and pressing the Train button no . The voice training screen never appears.

If I return to main P2ATC window voice command are heard correctly.

Is the grammar training disabled in teh trial version? I have tried to insert the log file in case this helps.

I suspect the Microphone is not getting through to P2A.  On the Practice page, after saying something, press the Replay button to hear what P2A is hearing.  The listen button just has the Text to Speech voice say the phrase.  If silent, then work through the Microphone setup and troubleshooting steps.

If the Speech Training Screen is not appearing, you may not have US English set up as the primary language.  Be sure US English is installed and set as the PRIMARY language for the PC.

I thought because my speech is recognized in the main P2ATC window the microphone must be working correctly.

I have gone throug the trouble shooting section of the manual and as far as I can tell the microphone is set up correctly.

The speech training window appears but no phrases ever apear to be selected. I will try and include screen shots of what I see.

I agree, sounds like the microphone is set up correctly.  

If you have multiple languages installed on your PC, you need to be sure that English-US is at the top of the languages list, making it the default language.

I have uninstalled other languages appart from US English and now all grammar is working properly, so that is great.

I might put them back in the future but I will make sure the US english remains top of the list.

Managed to get it all working on the last day of trial!
