I am just curious if anyone has a good mix of settings for the motion effects for Chaseplane; in particular with an A320 or 737.  I've messed around with them a ton but can't find the right mix and wanted to know if anyone else out there has found a mix that they like.  I also realize it is personal preference but would love a good starting point and go from there.  THanks!

well make sure you have wind on the aircraft turned up to the 50% of the slider mark. Then you will get whatever wind is out there affecting your aircraft/camera.

What about for the others (ground, anticipation, breathing, F. Horizon, etc)?  I am in a flight right now in FSL319 at FL380 and at 50% wind i'm shaking like crazy... is that what you typically see? FL380 wind is 235/47 headwind

having wind at 50 % up on the slider just lets it show the wind normally the wind does not go over 20%....hang on i will go look in sim..

I'll give this a look.... Do you ever have these settings with a "smooth" view?  With these I am shaking still, but It might be because of the actual wind turbulence I guess? 

I like the wind slider up, if you have strong winds just move the slider to your personal taste. I like 3 but see what you like the feel of. "smooth view" not sure what that is?

Right now with the settings you gave, my VC is shaking continuously.  Where as is if I had it set to 0, there would be no shaking or vibrating.  I think what I was looking for would be wind causing shaking when gusty or choppy, and in smooth flight, having very little shaking or none at all.  Does that make sense?  Sorry if that is hard to follow..

No that's easy to follow, I would suggest you set winds to 1.5-2.00, the plane is moving around all the time IRL so I like some movement but it's personally taste to how much.

AS will give you the shaking and vibrating on top off the CP wind movement. I set up winds in AS as per FSL instructions.

I've just seen why 3 will be to high i go into the tuning options and turned the movement if you don't wish to do that then 1.5-2 max should be fine.

I wish Chaseplane would link up to Active Sky the way EZDOK v3 apparently does to give you realistic turbulence effects. I've tried playing with the 'wind' setting, but had the same problem the OP has. It's either always on or always off. I wish it would communicate with AS and shake the camera around only when in turbulent or choppy conditions.
