You should be fine but an extra stick of RAM (bringing you to 1GB) would probably help a good bit.DougDell XPS Gen3 (3.6GHz/800FSB) | 2GB DDR SDRAM | 74GB SATA, 10k RPM (C: ) | 120GB SATA (D: ) | 256MB ATI Radeon X800 XT (Catalyst 6.5) | Audigy 2 ZS Sound | MS Force Feedback 2 | WindowsXP Pro (SP2) | DirectX 9.0c

it's more than 2 weeks old, that makes it completely inadequate for everything more strenuous than reading your email.

6 hours until the demo, try it then guys.

That brings up a question. Will the demo's performance be a good indication of the performace of the final version or will the final version be further optimized?Ian.

It would be a good indicator but I would expect that the final product would be furthur optimized, yes.

should be fine. My 8086 ran FS2004 at a speed I could keep up with, don't see a reason a 286 wouldn't offer FSX the same performance.

I only have a tape drive! And should I buy a NEW RF Converter since I have a lot of snow on the one I have now. Also, sometimes I see CBS on channel 3 when waiting to load turtle basic. I heard that I should be ok with 8K of ram, is this true?I forgot that the tab on the cord to the handset of my phone is broken so sometimes I lose my connection to my 300 baud modem or someone in the house picks up the other phone. Do you think it will take long to get the demo? Thanks for helping.Carmine http://forums.avsim.net/images/wave.gif
