No night shots??

Featured Replies

We all have seen alot of day screenshots, and are amazings, but i'm curious how look like and what improvements have fsx for the night.Alberto

To simulate how FSX will look at night, try to turn off your screen and look at it. :DOn the more serious side I think it has something to do with lighting in fsx. They might wanna have some screenshot surprises left.

It's been mentioned that night is done after day.I'd like to think that it is more or less ready now :)I'm awaiting this as well.Tim

Also shots with water on the apron/runway we have seen just one till now.

eh..they are still working on night shots? Isn't it a little bit late in the game for that now?

Are night textures done last because they are relatively easy to do?

Generally night textures are done last due to the daytime textures being used as backdrops, and you wouldn't want to base a night texture on a day texture that was subject to be changed. Night textures aren't necessarily considered easy - it depends on what ambience is desired, and sometimes it takes a careful eye to put those pixels in the right place. :)Best,Owen
