Majestic Dash 8 sound issue

Featured Replies

Please, help. May be somebody already has this problem. Only with this plane (Majestic Dash8 v2) all sounds still playing even simulator window inactive (or not in focus). All manipulations with Control Panel - Global sound - on or off doesn't help.

And second issue - there is no any smoke from runway and wheels at the touchdown moment. Majestic website is inactive now.

Windows 10 Pro, FSX and P3D 4.4.

Why fly? Simple. I'm not happy unless there's some room between me and the ground.

Can't comment on the sound issue but what do you have in your aircraft.cfg under [EFFECTS] for touchdown?  If there is something there, then do you have the proper effect in your Effects folder?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Press Q in the simulator that will stop the engine sounds. The sound engine in the Majestic is external to FSX/P3D, which allows for true surround sound.
