Thanks, if you are ever in Arizona, visit the Pima air museum and boneyard, where the B36 is on display.  To my knowledge, it was never used in anger, just a show of force to keep the uneasy peace between Korea and Vietnam and the Cuban missile crisis.  I was surprised that one could see the wings on this 2d panel model by just pressing shift/F9 in Xplane11, quite cool actually, because I always wanted to see the wings in flight.
