And the moon on average is about 384,400 km away so I guess there won't be any moon shots just yet. :)Don

>FSX will ship with 1m textures but the engine is now capable>of much greater.Wow. Better than 1m? That's gonna look sweet...if you can find any source data. I think most of the sat imagery I've seen is 1m. I suppose there is probably some aerial photos that can better that.

I wonder If i can fly over my home airport and take pictures with digital camera amd then convert it to a small scenary. I wonder how hard that would be.Imagine if everyone does their home airport..and the build a huge freeware package out of that.Hmmmm....:)Manny
