Gear up landing, with video!

Featured Replies

Feathering the starboard engine is suggested in their gear up landing procedure to minimize the chances of propeller pieces striking into the fuselage.

I saw that. I was watching it on Fox News Channel, they broke away right after the landing, so I switched to PMSNBC, and watched the couple dozen come out the back, and the Pilot and Co looking out the Top Emergency Hatches. That was a great landing, textbook executed, and great news that it ended up that way. There are also many, many, other emergency landings done all the time without the glare of TV, but it does go to show."We Ain't left one up there yet". :-)Thanks for posting the link.Regards,JoeGrab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

I can't even track the centerline with landing gear! How'd he do that? Surely, I thought he'd go to one side or the other. That was amazing. Good to hear that everyone is alright!Jeff
