Runway conditions and aircraft behavior

Featured Replies

Hi, will FSX simulate wet or icy runway conditions like X-Plane, which affect the aircraft behavior? Jan-Paul

All I know for sure is that FSX will have wet-looking runways. I don't know if that will affect the airplane or not (kick up spray, etc.) yet. Maybe someone else knows exactly what effect it will have...Rhett

Yes it should simulate wet runways e.g takeoff time and landing time etc

Should be interesting and I hope they do it. However I also hope they model ABS which is on by default but can be disabled by adding a line to the aircraft .cfg. There should also be a realism option "ABS on by default - Y/N" for those that fly smaller planes.
