May 14, 200620 yr Hi, will FSX simulate wet or icy runway conditions like X-Plane, which affect the aircraft behavior? Jan-Paul
May 15, 200620 yr All I know for sure is that FSX will have wet-looking runways. I don't know if that will affect the airplane or not (kick up spray, etc.) yet. Maybe someone else knows exactly what effect it will have...Rhett Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

May 15, 200620 yr Should be interesting and I hope they do it. However I also hope they model ABS which is on by default but can be disabled by adding a line to the aircraft .cfg. There should also be a realism option "ABS on by default - Y/N" for those that fly smaller planes. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
May 15, 200620 yr Have a look at some screenshots...http://www.3dgamers.com/screenshots/games/...sim2006/435278/And yes I know that is the ramp and not the runway but its still a paved surface... just in case anyone decides to try to be smart. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

May 15, 200620 yr >Yes it should simulate wet runways e.g takeoff time and>landing time etc pavvyben:His question that he asked was if this wetness will have any effect on the aircraft (slippage, skidding, spray kicking up, water hitting windshield, etc.).Rhett Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
